Had a WhatsApp message from Joy?
Joy works with GP practices in England. When your practice thinks some local support might help you, such as a walking group, money advice or support for carers, they can ask us to send you the details on WhatsApp.
How to tell it is really us
- The message comes from +44 7446 460800, shown in WhatsApp as Joy or Joy Local Support.
- It names your GP practice.
- We will never ask you to pay, and never ask for bank details, passwords or security codes.
- Over 90% of the services we suggest are free to you.
If you are not sure, contact your GP practice and ask whether they asked Joy to get in touch.
Why did I get this message?
Your GP practice asked us to send it. We use the name and mobile number your practice holds for you, only to send you details of local support. You can read more in our privacy notice.
What you can do
- Want the details? Tap Yes, send the details.
- Not right for you? Tap Find me something else or No thanks.
- Don't want messages from us? Reply STOP and we will stop messaging you.
Whatever you choose, it does not affect the care you get from your GP practice.
If you need medical help
We cannot help with medical questions or emergencies. Contact your GP practice, use NHS 111 online or call 111. In an emergency, call 999.
